New Books!

There will be a new section coming soon to our library. We have over 60 Love Inspired books that were published 2008 or later. The Love Inspired books are published by Harlequin. They are very inspirational and have scripture at the beginning that fits with the story. Click here for more information about Love Inspired books. Read and enjoy!

Overall, we've added over 150 new books to the library just in the last month, so you're bound to find something you'll like.

*Remember if you have books at home that you are not reading, please return them.

Summer flies by

Time flies by ... Especially when you're reading! Even more new books, thank you to those who have contributed. The Love Inspired section has grown by leaps and bounds. Also, we've added a teen book section, and started a new DVD section. If you have Christian DVDs that you'd like to share, please put them in the library slot, or give them to Cristi.

Love Inspired books!

We've added some of the Love Inspired series of books to the library. They include suspense, romance, and adventure, and are a great new addition. They are written by a variety of authors, and the most recent were published just last year. Love Inspired is a large selection of novels, and we hope to expand our selection in the coming months. Let us know what you think!

LARGE PRINT books

We have several large print books in the library, and are continuing to add to our collection. Look for the neon-colored spine label with "LP" written on it. If you have a specific book to request in large print, please let me know.

Author Highlight - Audre Pitts

Audre started writing when she was 7 years old. "I just love to scribble," she stated. Several of her books were written here in Eugene while attending EFCN.

Her books reflect her love for travel, and her easy manner of meeting people, but most of all finding humor and inspirations in the events that touched her life. She was a very fun and loving person. One of those people you'll never forget!

We now have 2 of her books in the library.

We've just updated the library list, so you can see the latest additions. Just click on "complete book list".

I've also been doing some re-organizing. I'm going through trying to make sure everything is in order, and all the series are together. Also, the large print books will soon have a special sticker on them to make them easier to find.

The first two books of the Baxter Family series by Karen Kingsbury are in. I can't wait until the next one, which comes out in October.
